Family Solicitor – 5+ PQE
Location: Leeds
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000+, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-recognised law firm in Leeds is expanding its Family Law team and is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join them.

You’ll take ownership of your own caseload, handle a mix of private and publicly funded matters, and play a key role in supporting the wider team.

Your Role

• Manage a varied caseload from initial enquiry through to court resolution

• Handle legal aid applications where appropriate

• Draft applications, statements, and court pleadings

• Advocate in court where required

• Respond to new client enquiries

• Support colleagues with complex or high-volume matters

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years’ PQE in Family Law

• Strong client care and communication skills

• Confident advocacy experience

• Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents

• Strong IT and case management system skills

• Organised, calm under pressure, and able to meet deadlines

• A collaborative and proactive approach
