Job Title: Tax Manager – Personal & Corporate Tax
Location: Warrington / Wigan
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A respected and growing accountancy firm based in the Warrington / Wigan area is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join there team. .

This role is perfect for someone who  will take the lead on all things tax, managing both compliance and advisory work across personal and corporate clients

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage a portfolio of clients

• Handle tax compliance of all levels.

• Prepare and submit self-assessment and corporation tax returns

• Advise clients on a broad range of personal and business tax matters

• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients

• Spot planning opportunities and flag risks

• Support junior staff with tax queries when needed

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in both personal and corporate tax

• ATT and / or CTA qualified

• Confident managing a varied tax portfolio end-to-end

• Strong knowledge of CCH platform Comfortable being the sole tax specialist in the office

• Great communicator who enjoys working with owner-managed businesses

• Experience in managing own tax portfolio with minimal supervision
• Comfortable preparing complex self-assessments and CT600's
