Litigation Solicitor – Motor Claims (Defendant) | 2+ PQE | Manchester | £45,000–£58,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

We are working on behalf of a top-tier, nationwide law firm that is seeking a Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE and solid experience handling motor claims, ideally in a defendant setting. Based in their thriving Manchester office, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing and supportive team with access to high-quality work and strong career progression.

The Role:

• Manage a caseload of litigated motor claims (including RTA liability, credit hire, personal injury, etc.)

• Represent a range of insurer clients and self-insureds

• Handle pre-action and litigated files through to trial, with supervision where needed

• Work alongside senior associates and partners on complex multi-track claims

• Draft legal documents, prepare court bundles, attend hearings and advise clients on liability, quantum, and litigation risk

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years PQE

• Strong experience in motor claims litigation – ideally from a defendant background

• Knowledge of CPR rules and claims handling protocols

• Excellent communication and client care skills

• Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-driven approach
