Employment Law Fee Earner – York
Are you an experienced Employment Law specialist looking for a new challenge in a supportive and down-to-earth team? We’re working with a well-established regional firm that is looking to recruit a skilled Employment Fee Earner to join their busy Commercial team at their Clifton Moor office in York.
This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own high-quality caseload covering the full spectrum of employment law matters, with the autonomy to develop client relationships and make a real impact in a growing team.
About the Role
You’ll work on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:

Contracts of employment and service agreements

Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
-
Disciplinary and grievance procedures
-
Settlement agreements and negotiations
-
TUPE transfers and restructuring
-
Unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal claims
-
Employment Tribunal preparation and advocacy
-
Redundancy advice and workforce reorganisation

What We’re Looking For

A strong background in Employment Law – typically 5+ years’ experience as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
-
Confidence handling a diverse caseload and advising both employers and employees
-
A commercial mindset and practical, solutions-focused approach
-
Excellent communication and client care skills
-
Some experience in marketing or business development would be a bonus
-
Ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team
