A leading regional accountancy firm is hiring an experienced Accounting & Advisory Manager to join their growing team in Manchester.

This is a standout opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients, and delivering top-quality advisory services.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients and ensuring delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services.

• Reviewing year-end accounts (FRS102 and FRS102 1a), management accounts, and forecasts across a wide range of industries.

• Supporting and advising clients on financial, tax, and commercial matters.

• Leading a team – reviewing work, coaching junior staff, and helping others grow.

• Working closely with senior leadership on strategic projects and business development.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong accounts experience in a UK accountancy practice.

• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of SME and limited company clients.

• Confident in reviewing accounts, tax returns, forecasts, and offering practical business advice.

• Experience managing and mentoring a team.

• Someone who’s motivated, well organised, and keen to take on new challenges.

• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
