Legal Consultant - Private Client Law

Remote (must be based in the UK)

Minimum 7 Years PQE | Fully Remote | Exceptional Fee Share

Are you an experienced Private Client solicitor seeking greater autonomy and higher earnings whilst maintaining the support of an established practice?

Due to continued growth in our client’s  Private Client department, we're seeking a skilled Private Client Legal Consultant to join their innovative consultancy model.

The Role:

As a Private Client Legal Consultant, you'll handle a diverse caseload including:

• Wills and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals
• Complex probate and estate administration
• Trust creation, variation and administration
• Inheritance tax planning and mitigation strategies
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
• Tax-efficient charitable giving structures
• Family wealth protection planning

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years PQE in Private Client Law
• Proven UK Private Client experience with complex estates and tax planning
• Existing client following or demonstrable ability to develop one
• Strong technical knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts and estate planning
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Self-motivated with ability to manage independent practice

Ideal Candidate:

• Ideally 7 years + PQE
• STEP qualification (or working towards)
• Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex family structures
• Knowledge of agricultural property relief and business property relief
• Understanding of offshore structures and international estate planning
• Must have experience working in a UK Legal Firm
