Role: Accounts and Audit Senior
Location: Leeds
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our client is a well-established firm specialising in accountancy, audit, and taxation services, offering Director-led business advice that focuses on the bigger picture for their diverse client base.
As part of the prestigious group, this practice serves privately-owned businesses across Yorkshire and the North East, from family enterprises to private equity-backed companies. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to progress all the way to Director level.
 
The Role:
  • Manage your own diverse client portfolio with direct client relationship responsibility
  • Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
  • Handle VAT returns (MTD compliant) and management accounts preparation
  • Lead client meetings and manage the engagement process
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Act as first point of contact for clients across all communication channels

 

Essential Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified / part qualified (or QBE equivalent)
  • Extensive UK practice experience with client portfolio management
  • Strong technical accountancy knowledge and accounts preparation expertise
  • Excellent client service ethos with proven relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Digita, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Line 50, and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and analytical skills
