Clinical Negligence Solicitor/Legal Executive - Leeds City Centre £45,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Team:
You'll be joining the YLA Clinical Negligence Team of the Year - a 16-strong team of high-calibre professionals who provide excellent training and supervision. This is a supportive, collaborative environment where your voice will be heard and professional development is actively encouraged.
The Role:
You'll be running a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, handling cases from initial instructions through to completion. All cases are multi-track, with caseloads typically under 40 cases at any time. The majority of work comes through recommendations, including both high-value complex cases and smaller straightforward claims.
Key Responsibilities:
• Running a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters
• Taking client instructions and providing appropriate advice
• Instructing counsel and experts where required
• Court representation and advocacy as appropriate
• Obtaining and preparing file documentation
• Business development activities
Essential Requirements:
• 2-6 years PQE experience in clinical negligence
• Current Practising Certificate or equivalent
• APIL Litigator/Senior Litigator accreditation (commensurate with experience)
• Strong client care skills with sensitive communication abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Passionate, technically competent, and commercially aware
