The Role
You'll handle a varied caseload of motor claims litigation matters within our busy Insurance team, working in a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation whilst benefiting from our "Flex Forward" working philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing a diverse caseload of motor claims litigation from inception to resolution
• Handling fast track and multi-track motor accident claims including credit hire disputes
• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail
• Conducting case analysis and providing strategic advice on liability and quantum issues
• Liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors, and expert witnesses professionally
• Preparing court bundles and attending hearings as required
• Managing disclosure processes and witness statement preparation
• Negotiating settlements and attending joint settlement meetings
• Using case management systems effectively to progress matters efficiently
• Supporting senior fee earners with complex motor claims matters
• Contributing to team knowledge sharing and best practice development
• Building strong relationships with insurer clients and panel partners
What We're Looking For
• Legal qualification (CILEx, paralegal experience, or law degree) with motor claims experience
• Strong understanding of motor claims litigation procedures and court processes
• Experience with RTA protocols, credit hire, and personal injury claims
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in case management systems and legal technology
• Commercial awareness and understanding of insurance industry dynamics
• Collaborative approach with commitment to knowledge sharing
