Family Solicitor
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Location: Preston (Hybrid Working Supported)
Experience: 1–5 years’ PQE (Family Law)

Our client’s Family Team in Preston is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to handle a varied caseload of privately funded divorce, financial remedy, and children matters. The Opportunity

Manage a diverse caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, finances, and children work

Advise high-net-worth and private clients on complex family law issues

Attend court, mediations, and client meetings, preparing detailed notes as required

Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court applications

Progress client work efficiently, keeping clients informed on progress, outcomes, and costs

Achieve billing and time-recording targets, supporting the team’s objectives

Contribute to business development through networking and building local relationships

Work collaboratively within a friendly, expert team
What We’re Looking For

Qualified solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE in family law
-
Experience acting for privately funded and HNW clients
-
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Excellent IT, organisation, and planning skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Confident communicator with a proactive approach to business development

Leadership skills and experience with SOS case management system (desirable)
