Construction Legal Director
Location: Leeds
Salary: £90,000 to £115,000 + bonus (dependent on experience)
Experience: 8+ years’ PQE
This is a brilliant opportunity for a senior construction lawyer to join a national Construction team in Leeds, with a workload that is predominantly contentious, alongside the opportunity to support on non-contentious projects.
If you enjoy complex disputes, working closely with colleagues and clients, and you’re motivated by building relationships and developing a profile in the market, this role offers strong platform and progression.
The Opportunity

Advise on a broad range of construction disputes and contentious matters

Support on non-contentious construction projects where required

Work closely with senior colleagues on complex, high-value matters

Manage matters with appropriate autonomy and supervision

Build trusted client relationships and deliver clear, commercial advice

Play an active role in business development and networking

What We’re Looking For
Essential
-
Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
-
8+ years’ PQE with strong construction law experience
-
Solid experience advising on contentious construction / disputes matters

Strong understanding of fundamental construction law

Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with clients and colleagues

Strong team ethic and ability to work effectively under pressure

Commercial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Discretion and professionalism, with exceptional attention to detail
