Location: Chatham

Salary: £45,000–£65,000

Are you an ambitious Private Client Solicitor seeking a new challenge? Our client, a respected law firm in Chatham, offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, enjoy real career progression, and join an inclusive, supportive team.

The Opportunity

Location: Chatham, Kent (office-based with flexible/hybrid working considered)

Salary: £45,000–£65,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, tax planning, and powers of attorney

• Advise and support clients with sensitivity and professionalism

• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and external professionals

• Keep up to date with changes in private client law and best practice

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm standards

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years’ PQE as a Private Client Solicitor

• UK private practice experience

• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and related areas

• Excellent client care, organisational, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant legal qualification (Solicitor or Legal Executive)
