Your Role and Responsibilities
Core Commercial Property Matters
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Development projects and agreements
- Landlord and tenant work (leases, renewals, licences)
- Asset management and large-scale portfolio work
- Property finance including banking and loan documentation
- Business and asset sales/purchases
- Insolvency and restructuring transactions
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Supporting corporate transactions
- Advising on general commercial property elements
- Working closely with other teams to provide integrated client solutions
Your Clients
You will build long-term relationships with a varied and high-quality client base, including:
- SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Property investors and developers
- Lending institutions and banks
- Housing associations
- High-net-worth individuals
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 4+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong UK private practice experience
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Solid background in transactional commercial property work
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
- Demonstrable interest in business development and networking
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
- Experience working with developers, lenders, or corporate clients
