The Role: Audit Senior

As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading assignments, managing client relationships, and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver external audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards
• Manage day-to-day client communication and build strong relationships
• Supervise, mentor, and review work completed by junior staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and added-value advisory work
• Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and regulatory requirements

About You: Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• ACCA or ACA qualified (essential)
• Minimum 3+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience, with a strong focus on external audit
• Proven experience of managing audits for a range of clients
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively
• Experience using audit and accounting software (e.g. CCH, CaseWare, Xero, Sage) is advantageous
