Job Description

Property Solicitor (7–8+ PQE)

Location: North London

Salary: £80,000+

Are you an experienced Property Solicitor seeking a senior, influential role within a supportive and established practice? Our client is a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked law firm based in an affluent and accessible part of North London. Known for their positive work culture and high-calibre client base, they are looking to appoint a talented Senior Solicitor to join their flourishing property department.

The Opportunity

This is a key appointment for a senior fee earner looking for both quality work and genuine influence within a department. Handling a mixed caseload of high-value residential conveyancing and commercial property matters, you will step into a well-run department with a strong pipeline of local and regional instructions. For an ambitious practitioner, this role offers an ideal platform to combine technical execution with team leadership and strategic department growth.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Required

  • Experience Level: 7–8+ years PQE with a proven track record handling both residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.

  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to support, mentor, and guide junior fee earners and support staff within the practice.

  • Technical Expertise: Conversant with complex conveyancing, commercial leases, acquisitions, disposals, and landlord/tenant matters.

  • Client Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering high-touch client care and maintaining existing client relationships.

What On Offer

  • Base Salary: £80,000+ (negotiable dependent on experience).

  • Direct opportunities for career progression and involvement in management decisions.

  • A warm, collaborative "happy firm" working culture that genuinely prioritises retention and staff well-being.

  • Comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, and local travel perks.
