Location: Doncaster

Salary: c.£50-60k+ DOE + Hybrid Working

 

Are you an experienced Audit Senior stepping up or an established Audit Manager looking for a growth-focused practice where you can take true ownership of a portfolio? Our client is a leading, fast-growing UK professional services firm with an extensive national network and a strong regional presence across Yorkshire. Operating from their Doncaster office, they are seeking a talented Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, mentor high-performing teams, and drive client relationship growth.

 

The Opportunity

This role offers a key leadership platform within a rapidly expanding audit practice. Acting as the primary liaison for business owners and board members across diverse sectors, you will oversee audit assignments from initial planning through to final completion. Supported by progressive leadership and a well-resourced team, you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy, a collaborative working environment, and a clear path for further career advancement.

 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Qualifications & Background: ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong, proven track record within a UK professional practice audit environment.

  • Portfolio & Team Leadership: Experience managing audit engagements, leading field teams, reviewing technical files, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.

  • Technical Excellence: Deep knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards, combined with strong financial statement review capabilities.

  • Client Engagement: Outstanding communication skills to build long-term trusted relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and support business development initiatives.
