Employment Law Partner / Director
Location: London (or National UK Offices)
Salary: £120,000 – £180,000+ DOE/Following (& Fee share)
Are you a senior Employment Partner or Director with a strong client following or established referral network looking for a leading national platform? Our client, a top-tier, nationally recognised law firm with over 1,000 colleagues across 13 UK offices is seeking an accomplished Employment specialist to play a key role in driving the growth and strategic direction of their highly ranked employment team.
The Opportunity
In this high-impact strategic role, you will lead and expand a thriving employment practice while delivering specialist advisory services to an impressive portfolio of PLCs, SMEs, and senior executives. You will handle complex contentious and non-contentious matters, including TUPE, discrimination, restructures, whistleblowing, and high-value Tribunal litigation, backed by cutting-edge legal technology, a dedicated Professional Skills Employment Lawyer, and in-house Counsel support. Offering exceptional autonomy, this position allows you to leverage an established national brand to scale your client base.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) operating at Senior Solicitor, Partner, or Director level with extensive UK practice experience in employment law.

Client Following (Essential): Proven track record of senior fee generation supported by an established, portable client following or strong referral network.

Technical Mastery: Comprehensive expertise across contentious and non-contentious employment matters, strategic HR advisory, corporate support, and Tribunal representation.

Leadership & BD: Strong business development acumen with a track record of team leadership, mentoring junior fee earners, and contributing to firm-wide growth strategies.
