Associate Partner - Family Law

Location: North West (hybrid)

Salary: £90,000 to £120,000 (depending on experience)

Experience: Senior Solicitor (Associate Partner level)

This is an opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded team at a well-established law firm, working on complex, high-quality matters in a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will manage a varied caseload with both national and international elements, across financial remedy and private children matters. Alongside fee-earning work, you will play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to business development, and supporting the continued growth of the department.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a busy caseload of family matters from instruction to conclusion

• Advising on divorce and separation

• Handling complex financial remedy cases

• Advising on private children disputes, including child arrangements and relocation matters

• Advising on cohabitation and relationship breakdown issues

• Drafting and advising on pre- and post-nuptial agreements

• Acting on matters involving high-net-worth individuals and business assets

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with a calm, empathetic approach

• Supporting business development and developing professional networks

• Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Family law

• Proven capability across financial remedy and private children matters

• Excellent client care and relationship-building skills

• Able to run matters independently and manage competing deadlines

• Comfortable with business development and work-winning activity

• Collaborative approach and genuine interest in supporting colleagues

• Ambition to play a key role in a growing, high-performing team
