Residential Property Solicitor
Location: North London
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000+ DOE/PQE

The Opportunity
Joining a close-knit and busy property department in North London, you will manage an engaging caseload of high-quality residential transactions for diverse clients, including private individuals, property investors, developers, landlords, and tenants. Working alongside experienced partners, you will play a key role in shaping and growing the local team, building lasting connections with North London estate agents and referrers, and mentoring junior colleagues. Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Qualifications & Education: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) specialising in residential conveyancing within a recognised UK practice. Strong academic background (2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree required).

Caseload Management: Full end-to-end management of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build purchases, lease extensions, re-financing, and transfers of equity.

Client Advisory & Relationship Building: Delivering strategic, commercial legal advice to private clients, investors, and developers while actively cultivating relationships with local estate agents and referrer networks.

Team Leadership & Mentoring: Supervisory experience or a strong desire to support, guide, and develop trainees, paralegals, and legal assistants within the department.

Practice Growth & Compliance: Contributing to marketing initiatives, updates, and networking events while maintaining strict adherence to SRA principles, client care standards, and internal risk management policies.

Competitive Remuneration: £50,000 – £60,000 base compensation per annum (commensurate with PQE and market experience) plus lucrative target-related performance bonuses.
