Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 (dependent on experience)

Experience: 3 to 5 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established disputes team in Sheffield, handling a broad and varied caseload of contentious matters.

You’ll work closely with senior colleagues on complex disputes, while also managing your own matters with appropriate supervision. The Opportunity

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters

• Advise clients across a broad range of contentious issues, from early strategy through to resolution

• Draft key documents and correspondence, and support on more complex disputes

• Progress matters through negotiation, ADR and, where required, court proceedings

• Build trusted client relationships and deliver excellent client care

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm where matters overlap

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales

• 3 to 5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation (or equivalent experience)

• Solid understanding of dispute resolution processes, including ADR

• Confident managing matters independently where appropriate

• Strong technical ability and good commercial judgement

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive approach and a strong team mindset

• Consistently high standards of client care

Desirable

• Experience handling a broad mix of general commercial disputes

• Experience supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value litigation
