Audit Senior (Associate Level)
Salary: Up to £45,000

The Role: Audit Senior (Associate)
You’ll take a lead role on audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners while supporting junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit fieldwork on-site and/or at client premises, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard
- Planning audits, preparing audit programmes and coordinating timelines
- Preparing and reviewing audit files and ensuring completion of audit documentation
- Drafting accounts and reports and assisting with completion meetings
- Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a day-to-day contact
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues where needed
Requirements (What you’ll need)
To be a strong fit, you’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience (audit-focused)
- Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion
- ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist (or equivalent)
- Strong technical grounding in: audit methodology, risk assessment, and file completion
- Confidence using audit software and Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, working papers)
- A professional, client-facing approach and the ability to manage deadlines

Location & Working Arrangement
- Location: Sheffield
- Working pattern: Hybrid working is available (details can be discussed based on your preferences and the team’s schedule)
- You should be able to commute to Sheffield for office days and client work as required
