Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Location: Hale (Greater Manchester)

Salary: £55,000 to £75,000

Experience: 3+ years PQE

 

Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a growing, award-winning team in Hale.This role suits someone who enjoys running their own files, delivering excellent client care, and supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex disputes.

 

You will join a busy team exposed to varied, high-quality commercial litigation work. The working environment is office-based to support collaboration, learning, and day-to-day support.You will report to the Partner and Head of Commercial Litigation, and you will be motivated to contribute to a well-run, efficient and organised team.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction to conclusion

• Supporting senior colleagues on larger, complex cases as required

• Advising clients throughout the life of a matter on prospects, strategy, and costs exposure

• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and settlement documentation

• Taking a proactive, tenacious approach to progressing matters and achieving the best outcomes for clients

• Maintaining high standards of client care and clear communication

• Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver joined-up solutions

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support long-term retention

• Working to client service standards and agreed timeframes where applicable

• Managing competing deadlines across multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date file records across ongoing cases

 

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years PQE as a qualified solicitor, with strong commercial litigation experience

• Strong tactical judgement and commercial awareness

• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail

• Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach

• Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively

• Strong organisation and IT skills

• Salary of £55,000 to £75,000 (dependent on experience)
