Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: £25,000 to £32,000

Experience: Commercial litigation support experience preferred

 

Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Paralegal into its Manchester team.

The firm is going through an exciting period of transition and significant investment, creating a strong pipeline of new work and genuine opportunities to develop as the business grows. This is a great role for someone who enjoys fast-paced disputes work, strong client contact, and being part of a collaborative team.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting fee earners on a broad range of commercial litigation matters
  • Assisting with the day-to-day progression of files, helping to keep matters moving efficiently
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence, court documents and supporting papers
  • Organising and maintaining accurate, well-structured electronic files
  • Assisting with disclosure exercises, document review and evidence collation
  • Preparing bundles and coordinating deadlines and key dates
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, courts and other third parties as required
  • Undertaking legal research and producing clear summaries

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a commercial litigation or dispute resolution environment is preferred
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Confident IT skills and comfort working with case management systems
  • Professional, client-focused approach with good telephone manner
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
