Audit Senior
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Clear Progression
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid Working)

Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking audit team, you’ll take ownership of assignments, build meaningful client relationships, and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services across diverse sectors.
The Opportunity
As an Audit Senior, you will lead audits from planning to completion, acting as a trusted point of contact for clients while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Prepare risk assessments, audit plans, and tailored audit programmes
- Manage on-site fieldwork and act as the primary client contact
- Review and supervise work completed by junior team members
- Ensure compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards (UK GAAP, ISA)
- Draft audit reports and findings for Manager/Director review
- Contribute to audit quality improvements and internal best practice
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
- 2–4+ years’ UK practice experience, operating at Audit Senior level
- Proven track record of leading audits and managing multiple engagements
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards (ISA)
- Experience with audit software (experience with MyWorkpapers advantageous)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Highly organised with a proactive, quality-driven approach
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the regional network
