Tax Senior
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 + Clear Progression

Our client, a well-established firm based in Keighley, is seeking a confident and technically strong tax professional to manage a varied client portfolio while developing into a more advisory-focused role.

The Role: Manage, Deliver and Grow
As a Tax Senior, you will take responsibility for managing your own portfolio, ensuring compliance work is delivered accurately and on time, while identifying opportunities to add further value to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients as the primary point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns and computations
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns (where required)
- Liaising with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and maintain strong relationships
- Ensuring all filings, working papers, and documentation are accurate and compliant
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and escalating where appropriate
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, including reviewing basic work
About You: Skills, Experience & Qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and organised tax professional with strong UK practice experience and a client-focused approach.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ UK accountancy practice tax experience
- Strong background in personal tax compliance (essential)
- Experience with corporate tax (advantageous)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC processes
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a varied workload
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications (any of the following considered):
- ATT qualified or studying
- CTA part-qualified / qualified
- ACA / ACCA qualified or studying with strong tax exposure
Salary & Benefits Package
- £38,000 – £48,000, depending on experience and qualifications
