Intellectual Property Partner
Location: Leeds
Salary: £95,000 to £140,000
Experience: Partner level (salary partner with a modest client following)

What You’ll Be Doing
You will take a lead role in growing the Intellectual Property offering in Leeds, with the autonomy and trust to make decisions and drive outcomes.
Key parts of the role will include:
- Advising businesses on IP strategy and protection across the full lifecycle, from early stage growth through to established brands
- Handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious IP work, tailored to client needs
- Advising on trademarks, copyright, designs and brand protection
- Supporting corporate and commercial teams on IP aspects of transactions, licensing and wider commercial arrangements
- Managing disputes where required, including enforcement, infringement and passing off matters
- Building and strengthening client relationships, with meaningful influence over service delivery
- Playing an active role in shaping team direction, business development activity and the wider growth strategy
- Mentoring and developing colleagues, helping to build a high-performing, quality-led culture
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Partner who combines strong technical ability with commercial instinct and a people-first approach.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Partner level experience in Intellectual Property (or a Senior Associate or Legal Director ready for partnership)
- A modest client following, or a clear and credible plan to build one quickly
- Strong experience advising businesses, with the confidence to lead client relationships
- A practical, solutions-led style, with a focus on clarity, efficiency and high quality outcomes
- The ability to work independently, while enjoying a collaborative, supportive environment
