Family Law Solicitor (2–6 Years PQE)

Salary: c.£50,000 - £70,000 DOE + Career Progression

Location: Romford Area, Essex | Hybrid Working Available

The Opportunity

As a Family Law Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues on a varied range of matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Private children matters
  • Cohabitation disputes
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Domestic abuse and injunction applications
  • Civil partnership matters
  • Relationship breakdown and dispute resolution

You will play an important role in maintaining excellent client relationships, delivering practical legal advice, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the department.

 

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • 2–6 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) within Family Law
  • Demonstrable experience managing a private family law caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of family law legislation and procedures
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills
  • Commercial awareness and business development capability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience handling high-net-worth matrimonial matters
  • Advocacy experience
  • Membership of Resolution or willingness to work towards accreditation
  • Proven networking and business development experience
  • Experience supervising junior staff or supporting team development
