Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Manchester
Salary: £45,000 to £70,000 plus bonus and benefits
Experience: Qualified Solicitor with commercial property experience

This is a full-time role within a busy property team, with hybrid working as part of the week.
You’ll manage your own caseload of client matters and handle files at all stages, from initial instruction through to archiving, in line with office and accounts procedures. You’ll also play a part in improving how the team works day-to-day, sharing knowledge, and supporting a positive working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running a caseload of client matters
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to archiving, in line with office and accounts procedures
- Taking clear instructions from clients and advising accordingly
- Obtaining and preparing file documentation
- Billing files and ensuring monies due are obtained from clients and other parties
- Maintaining and developing legal knowledge and skills
- Contributing to maintaining and improving office procedures
- Supporting a safe and healthy working environment
- Completing other duties required from time to time

- Confident communication skills
- Ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing
- Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to explain solutions clearly and in a client-friendly way
- Ability to work accurately in line with team requirements
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities
- Strong time management and organisation
- Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent client care skills
- IT competent
- Comfortable working remotely for part of the week
Experience and Qualifications
- Current Practising Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial and residential property
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel
- Understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct
- Familiarity with case management systems
