Location: Sheffield

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience)

Experience: 5+ years PQE (or equivalent)

If you’re a qualified conveyancer who enjoys running matters end-to-end and takes real pride in client care, this is a standout opportunity to join a well-established, top-tier ranked regional firm as part of its growing Residential Property team in Sheffield.

You’ll be trusted to run your own files, supported by an open, friendly and professional culture where people are encouraged to do great work and still have a life outside of it.

This is a key growth hire into a busy Residential Property team. You’ll manage a full residential conveyancing caseload independently, with the support of experienced colleagues and a firm-wide focus on quality, client care and long-term careers.

The firm operates across Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the East Midlands, with multiple offices and a strong reputation for both legal work and developing its people.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently from instruction through to completion
  • Handling a broad range of residential property matters, including sales, purchases and remortgages
  • Providing clear, practical advice and keeping clients updated throughout the transaction
  • Maintaining consistently high standards of client care, communication and responsiveness
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues to keep matters progressing smoothly
  • Following internal processes, AML requirements and file management standards
  • Contributing to team performance and consistent service delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional
  • 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) in residential conveyancing
  • Confident running your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Organised, proactive approach and comfortable managing deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team

What’s On Offer

  • Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 38 days’ annual leave inclusive of bank and other public holidays, including birthday leave
  • Life assurance at 3x salary
  • Employee Assistance Programme, including counselling, 24/7 GP access, physiotherapy, gym discounts and cashback benefits
  • Annual pay reviews
  • Pension scheme
  • Flexible and part-time working options (where suitable)
  • Compassionate leave
  • Generous sick pay
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave for senior staff
  • Mileage paid (in accordance with contract)
  • Use of company vehicles for designated staff
  • Aquis House passes (free parking evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
  • 25% discount on legal services
  • Social committee and events
  • Christmas party and Christmas vouchers
  • Eye test vouchers
  • Medicash Benefits including Perks At Work
  • Training and development programmes and CPD courses
  • Financial support for further training and development
  • Management Training Course with Lincoln University
  • Study leave for employees studying with Learning Agreements (1 day study, 1 day exam)
  • Progression scheme and structured development support
  • Apprenticeship programme and internal academy support
  • Paid professional memberships and support with panel applications (where applicable)
