Corporate Partner / Senior Lawyer (Partnership Track)

Location: London

Salary: £140,000 to £220,000 (depending on experience and following)

Experience: Legal Director / Senior Associate (partnership ready) to Partner

 

Our client is looking to add a Corporate Partner into its thriving London Corporate team. This is a strong opportunity for a senior corporate lawyer who wants a genuine platform to grow a practice, lead from the front, and build something long-term within a collaborative national firm.

The team has a strong reputation and an impressive client base, with a focus on M&A for owner-managed businesses, private equity and venture capital. The role is London-led, with clear ambition to strengthen London capability and continue building market presence.

You will be a key leader in London, contributing to growth plans in the owner-managed business space and wider corporate offering. You will attract new clients, deliver high-quality, commercially focused advice, and support the team in meeting client needs as the practice continues to expand.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and delivering corporate transactions, with a focus on M&A for owner-managed businesses, private equity and venture capital work

• Building and developing a sustainable pipeline through business development and relationship-led work winning

• Managing and growing key client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser

• Supporting and developing the wider team, contributing to a high-performing culture

• Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up advice where needed

• Contributing to the ongoing growth strategy for the London corporate practice

• Working to agreed financial and performance targets

 

What We’re Looking For

• Partner, Legal Director, or Senior Associate ready for partnership

• Strong corporate law experience, with exposure to M&A and related corporate advisory work

• Commercially minded, with strong client relationship skills

• Strong business development capability, with evidence of winning work

• A client following is welcomed, or a clear and credible plan to build one in London

• Collaborative leadership style, with a genuine interest in growing a team and supporting others

• Committed to delivering outstanding client service
