Audit Senior
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE
Location: Sheffield

The Role: What you’ll be doing
As Audit Senior, you’ll take responsibility for planning and delivering audit assignments and supporting junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audits from planning through to completion, including on-site work where required
- Preparing and reviewing audit files and financial statements
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a day-to-day point of contact
- Identifying and communicating audit findings clearly and professionally
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff on assignments
- Working closely with managers/partners to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
What our client is looking for
To be a strong match for this role, you’ll typically have:
- 3+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience (audit-focused)
- Experience leading audits (or acting as the main senior on-site)
- ACA / ACCA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of UK auditing standards and compliance
- Confidence preparing/reviewing audit files and financial statements
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing work
- Full UK driving licence (preferred, depending on client site requirements)
Location & working arrangements
- Sheffield (office-based with client site visits as required)
- Working pattern and flexibility will be discussed at interview, with a focus on what supports delivery and team collaboration.
