Job Title: Immigration Solicitor (3+ years PQE)

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About our Client: We are supporting a well-established law firm in Chelmsford with a longstanding reputation for excellence and a strong client base. Our clients firm is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking to support them expand their team with a passionate and dedicated Immigration Solicitor.

Role Overview: We’re looking for an experienced, proactive, and motivated Immigration Solicitor to join the firms team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in handling a full range of business and personal immigration cases, excluding asylum/refugee matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with our established client base and contribute to our ongoing success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of business and personal immigration matters, ensuring compliance with current immigration laws and regulations.
• Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on a range of immigration issues, including skilled worker visas, sponsor licenses, family visas, and naturalization.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and support throughout the immigration process.
• Represent clients in appeals and judicial reviews where necessary.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
• Engage in business development activities to support the firm’s growth, including networking and attending relevant events.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years PQE in Immigration Law.
• Strong experience in handling business and personal immigration cases (excluding asylum/refugee matters).
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Proactive and motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
