Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (Flexible/Hybrid working available)

Are you ready to elevate your career in cloud accounting? Our client's Bury office is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Cloud Accountant to join our forward-thinking team, working with a diverse range of clients and industries.

The Role

As a Cloud Accountant, you’ll:

  • Handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payment runs using platforms like Xero and Dext.
  • Prepare insightful management reports, budgets, and cashflows for clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and corporate tax returns.
  • Manage cloud accounting projects, including system migrations and client training.
  • Research innovative accounting tools and ensure clients benefit from best-in-class solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, providing advisory services tailored to their needs.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of accountancy practice experience, with hands-on expertise in cloud accounting.
  • Familiarity with Xero, Dext, and other cloud platforms.
  • AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications in progress or completed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
