Job Title: Employment Law Solicitor (2–5 Years PQE)
Location: Leeds (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

 

A leading UK law firm is expanding its Employment Law team in Leeds and is looking for an experienced Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate level) to join their growing, dynamic team.

 

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE in Employment Law to manage a varied and challenging workload, while also contributing to the growth and development of the Leeds Employment team.

You will work on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with the chance to get involved in corporate support work where relevant. You’ll be a key part of a growing team, working alongside supportive colleagues and taking on responsibility from day one.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Advising clients on a wide range of employment matters, including disputes, tribunals, and compliance

  • Managing a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law work

  • Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE and restructures

  • Developing client relationships and identifying business development opportunities

  • Assisting with the development and growth of the Leeds Employment team

  • Mentoring junior members of the team

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-5 years' PQE in Employment Law

  • Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law

  • Corporate support experience (preferred but not essential)

  • A proactive, client-focused approach with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to manage your own caseload effectively and meet deadlines

  • Collaborative and team-oriented with a desire to contribute to the team’s growth
