Audit Senior – Manchester
UK Top 30 Accountancy Practice
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE + qualifications + interview performance)

We're hiring for our Audit Team in Manchester, part of a well-established and growing national practice ranked among the UK’s Top 30.

This role suits someone with at least two years of UK practice experience who’s confident managing audits, supporting junior colleagues, and maintaining high-quality client delivery.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion

• Delegating work to junior team members with clear guidance and deadlines

• Reviewing files to ensure accuracy and quality

• Preparing reports and highlighting key audit findings

• Coaching and mentoring junior staff on-site and in the office

• Building strong client relationships through effective communication

• Collaborating with other departments to support joined-up services

• Contributing to a positive, team-focused environment

What we’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

• Strong UK audit experience within a practice

• Good understanding of audit risk and compliance

• Experience in leading audits and supervising staff

• Confident communicator with clients and internal teams

• Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS, and IFRS

• A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
