Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant – Wirral (Near Ellesmere Port)
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (DOE) + Full Study Support
Job Type: Full-time | Office-based

We’re working with a growing Accountancy Practice based in the Wirral, close to Ellesmere Port, who are expanding their team and looking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant.

You’ll join a supportive team environment and get the chance to broaden your skills by getting involved in audit work (full training will be provided).

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

• Managing bookkeeping and VAT returns

• Supporting clients with queries and building strong relationships

• Assisting on audits (training provided)

• Liaising with HMRC and Companies House as required

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years' experience in a UK Accountancy Practice

• AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA

• Comfortable managing your own portfolio of clients

• Keen to learn and develop audit experience

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
