Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice – Bolton
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established Accountancy Practice in Bolton is expanding and looking to add a Bookkeeper to their growing team.

This is a great opportunity if you’ve worked in practice before and enjoy managing your own portfolio of clients. You’ll join a supportive and experienced team with strong client relationships and a reputation for quality.

What you’ll do:

• Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

• Prepare and submit VAT returns

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain ledgers

• Liaise directly with clients to gather records and answer queries

• Use Xero, QuickBooks and Sage daily

What you’ll need:

• Experience working in an accountancy practice

• Strong bookkeeping and VAT knowledge

• Confidence using cloud accounting software

• A proactive and organised approach to client deadlines

• AAT qualification is ideal but not essential
