Senior Accountant
Location: Bolton
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a client portfolio across a mix of sectors. This includes accounts prep, tax returns, management reporting, and reviewing work of juniors. Perfect for someone with solid practice experience who enjoys autonomy and client interaction.
Your Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of SME clients

Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax returns

Oversee and support junior staff

Provide client advice around tax planning and financial performance

Ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met
You’ll Need

ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE with strong practice background

Experience managing a portfolio or supervising juniors
-
Confident across cloud accounting systems (Xero preferred)

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
