Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner
Location: Leeds City Centre | Hybrid Working Available
Salary: £35,000+ DOE + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Role

You’ll join a busy, well-structured conveyancing department known for its quality of work, client satisfaction, and team-oriented culture. Working as part of a dedicated two-person team (a solicitor/fee earner and a senior assistant), you’ll have full responsibility for managing a varied residential caseload from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling a full range of residential property transactions (freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership) from instruction to completion

• Conducting detailed title checks and resolving any issues proactively

• Advising clients on mortgage offers and schemes such as Help to Buy

• Preparing legal documentation including transfer forms, redemption statements and completion packs

• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely and smooth transactions

• Keeping internal systems and client portals fully updated

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years' solid experience in residential conveyancing

• Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of property matters

• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently

• Excellent client care, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Proactive, detail-focused and highly organised
