Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Keighley
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established and expanding Accountancy Practice in Keighley is recruiting a Tax Manager to join its senior leadership team.

This is a key role with responsibility for overseeing tax operations, developing junior staff, and providing strategic advice to a wide-ranging client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services across the client base

• Lead on complex tax planning and restructuring projects

• Act as the primary point of contact for high-value and complex clients

• Review and sign off on tax returns and HMRC correspondence

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies within the department

• Stay on top of changes in tax legislation and brief the wider team

• Coach, develop, and mentor junior tax staff

• Represent the firm in client meetings, HMRC interactions, and professional forums

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience in tax advisory and compliance, ideally within a practice setting

• Ability to manage a varied client portfolio with confidence

• In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation

• Proven ability to lead and support a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)

• A commercial mindset with a focus on adding value to client relationships
