What You’ll Be Doing

As a Bookkeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of a diverse client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients

  • Preparing accurate financial records and statements

  • Completing VAT returns with precision

  • Performing bank and account reconciliations

  • Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless financial processes

  • Maintaining compliance with UK accounting regulations

 

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Expertise:

  • 2+ years’ bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice

  • Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and VAT regulations

  • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and/or Sage

  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts independently

Personal Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for financial accuracy

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Collaborative, proactive, and professional approach

Qualifications:

  • AAT-qualified or equivalent preferred

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • A proven track record of maintaining accurate and timely financial records
