A well-established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory practice is looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing Liverpool team. The Role

As an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior, you will:

  • Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

  • Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments

  • Perform audit fieldwork, testing and analytical procedures

  • Prepare high-quality working papers and audit documentation

  • Support senior team members with audit completion and reporting

  • Liaise with clients to gather information and respond to queries

  • Ensure work is completed in line with regulatory and internal quality standards

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working within an accountancy practice

  • Exposure to both accounts preparation and audit work

  • Be AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified

  • A good understanding of UK GAAP and basic audit principles

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Confident communication skills and a professional approach

  • A desire to continue developing your technical skills and career
