Commercial Property Senior Associate (7–10 PQE)
Salary: £70,000–£90,000 DOE
Location: Luton (high-quality work + progression)

Based in the Luton area, you’ll join an established Commercial Property team with a strong pipeline of work and the scope to develop your profile internally and externally as a senior member of the department.
The Role: Commercial Property (Senior Associate)
This is a full-time position where you’ll take ownership of a varied commercial property caseload and support the wider team on more complex matters.
Core work will include:
- Landlord & Tenant matters (leases, renewals, variations, assignments)
- Sales and purchases of commercial property
- Refinance and secured lending transactions
Additional exposure (helpful, not essential):
- Land acquisition
- Development work (site set-up, plot sales, infrastructure agreements depending on experience)
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision
- Drafting and negotiating leases and transactional documentation
- Advising clients on risk, title issues, and commercial considerations
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues (where appropriate)
- Contributing to business development and strengthening key client relationships
Requirements
To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 7–10 years’ PQE in Commercial Property within a UK legal practice
- Strong experience across L&T, sales/purchases and refinance
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach
- Confidence managing your own caseload and delivering high-quality client service
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience in acquisitions and development
- Supervisory/mentoring experience or interest in supporting junior development

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 depending on experience and fit (benchmarking for 7–10 PQE Senior Associate level in the regional market)
