Litigation Solicitor
Location: Kendal
Salary: £42,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)
Experience: 2+ PQE
Our client is growing its Kendal office and is keen to speak with Litigation Solicitors who want to be part of a long-term plan to strengthen and develop an established presence in the area.
This is a great opportunity to handle quality work, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued development of a key office, with the support of a wider regional firm.
You will work on a varied litigation caseload, supporting clients through disputes with a practical, solutions-led approach. The role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on, values collaboration, and is motivated by the chance to help grow a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a range of contentious matters from initial instruction through to resolution
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and key documents
- Advising clients clearly and commercially, keeping them updated throughout
- Supporting business development and helping strengthen the office’s local profile
- Working closely with colleagues across other teams where matters overlap
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in litigation (commercial or general disputes)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident client-handling ability and a practical approach to problem solving
- Good organisation and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Collaborative mindset and an interest in contributing to office growth
