Family Solicitor
Location: Kendal
Salary: £40,000 to £70,000 (depending on experience)
Experience: 2+ PQE (all experience levels considered)
Our client is growing its Kendal office and is looking to speak with Family Solicitors who want to be part of a long-term plan to strengthen and develop an established presence in the area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys client-facing work, values a supportive culture, and wants the backing of a wider regional firm while helping shape the next stage of growth locally.
You will advise on a broad range of private family matters, supporting clients with clear, practical guidance at what can be a sensitive time. The role suits someone who combines strong technical ability with empathy and excellent client care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a varied family law caseload from instruction through to conclusion
- Advising clients clearly and sensitively, keeping them updated throughout
- Drafting key documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
- Supporting the continued development and profile of the Kendal office
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in Family law
- Strong client care skills and a calm, professional approach
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Good organisation and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- A collaborative mindset and interest in contributing to office growth
