Residential Conveyancer

Location: Wetherby area (office-based)

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Experience: 2 to 3+ years’ residential conveyancing experience

 

Our client is recruiting a Residential Conveyancer to join its Residential Property team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who can run files with confidence, takes pride in accuracy and client care, and wants to be part of a firm that invests in training, wellbeing and long-term career development.

 

You will independently manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, with responsibility for progressing matters efficiently and maintaining excellent standards throughout.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload including sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold, new builds and transfers of equity
  • Delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining strong client accessibility and clear, proactive communication
  • Ensuring good financial management of files
  • Supporting the firm’s quality standards and accreditations, including Lexcel and CQS

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • 2 to 3+ years’ proven experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical ability across the full conveyancing lifecycle
  • A client-first approach with high professional standards
  • Well organised, with excellent attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience working to quality standards such as Lexcel and/or CQS
  • Relevant qualification (Solicitor or CILEX)
