Senior Private Client Solicitor
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor seeking a senior role with real influence and progression?
Our client, a respected regional law firm, is looking for a dynamic Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their Tonbridge office. This is a chance to lead on complex matters, mentor junior colleagues, and shape the future of a thriving Private Client department.
The Role: Your Key Responsibilities

Managing and developing a high-value Private Client caseload (wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, powers of attorney)

Advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on complex and sensitive estate matters

Providing technical leadership and acting as a subject matter expert within the team

Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff

Driving business development and strengthening client relationships
Requirements: What We’re Looking For

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 6+ years PQE in Private Client law

Extensive recent experience in a UK law firm handling complex Private Client matters

STEP qualification (or equivalent) highly desirable

Exceptional technical knowledge in trusts, tax, estate planning, and probate

Proven leadership, supervisory, and mentoring skills

Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and client care abilities

Ambition to progress towards partnership or departmental leadership

Location & Working Arrangements

Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in the office, flexible remote arrangements
