Salary: £85,000 – £110,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits

The Role

Joining a highly regarded Tax team, you will work on sophisticated advisory matters across corporate and real estate transactions, supporting a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions
  • Supporting corporate reorganisations and restructuring projects
  • Providing expert advice on SDLT, VAT and employment taxes
  • Structuring and implementing tax-efficient solutions
  • Working closely with corporate, real estate and private wealth teams
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to team growth, strategy and mentoring junior lawyers

 

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • 8+ years’ PQE in corporate and/or real estate tax
  • Strong expertise in M&A tax, restructuring and transactional tax advisory
  • Detailed knowledge of SDLT, VAT and employment tax
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-value matters independently
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and client relationship skills
  • Commercially focused with a strategic, solutions-driven approach

Desirable:

  • Experience working with owner-managed businesses, corporate groups or private equity clients
  • CTA, ATT or equivalent tax qualification
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
  • Interest in business development and practice growth
