Plot Conveyancer
Location: Guildford
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000
Experience: Residential conveyancing / new build experience
If you enjoy running your own caseload, keeping things moving in a fast-paced plot sales environment, and building strong relationships with repeat clients, this is a great opportunity to join a busy Residential Development team with a strong pipeline of work.
Our client is looking for a Plot Conveyancer to join their Guildford-based plot sales team. You will take ownership of your own plot sales matters, supported by a case management system and well-developed processes.
This is a client-facing role, so you will be encouraged to develop and maintain relationships with housebuilder and developer clients, while delivering a consistent, high-quality service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing your own caseload of plot sales matters from instruction through to completion
- Using a case management system to progress files efficiently and accurately
- Liaising with clients and third parties, providing clear updates and keeping matters on track
- Drafting and progressing documentation required for new build plot sales
- Working closely with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain service levels in a high-volume environment
- Spotting issues early, escalating where needed, and helping to drive practical solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Background in new build plot sales and/or residential conveyancing
- Strong client management skills and confidence in a client-facing role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and a calm, organised approach under pressure
- Good commercial awareness and an interest in how residential development clients operate
- Strong IT skills, ideally with experience using a case management system
- A collaborative mindset, discretion and professionalism at all times

This role is Guildford-based, with hybrid and flexible working available.
