Commercial Litigation Solicitor
Location: Altrincham
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 plus bonus and benefits
Experience: 2 to 5 years’ PQE

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their expanding team. You’ll run your own high-value caseload, support on larger matters, and play a key part in mentoring junior colleagues and driving standards across the team.
You’ll work on complex and varied commercial litigation matters, advising clients on strategy, risk and costs exposure, and delivering commercially focused advice. The role also offers a clear platform for business development, with support to build your profile through networking, training and thought leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a complex caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction to resolution
- Advising on prospects, strategy and costs exposure throughout the lifecycle of a case
- Acting tactically and decisively to achieve the best outcomes for clients
- Supporting on disputes progressing through adjudication, arbitration and litigation where appropriate
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery
- Working closely with other teams (including real estate, corporate and finance) to provide joined-up advice
- Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development
- Contributing to business development through networking, client training, articles and wider marketing activity
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with client SLAs
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 2 to 5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation (or closely related disputes work)
- Strong technical and procedural knowledge with a tactical, commercial approach
- Confident running complex matters with minimal supervision
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues
- Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing competing priorities
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to a growing team
